Update Multi Factor Authentication Method

In My Everence, your user account can have 2 methods of Multi-Factor Authentication, a Primary Method, and a Secondary Method. 

To add a secondary method

1. Log into My Everence using your credentials and primary method of MFA.
   1. If your primary method is no longer available, a Web Support team member will need to speak with you over the phone to confirm your need to remove your MFA method to allow you to set up a new one. 
2. On the dashboard, locate the menu in the top right corner with your name on it.
3. Click the option to "View Profile"
   
4. Navigate to the Two-step verification section: 
5. Click "Add verification method" to begin setting up a secondary method. 
   

To change your secondary method to your primary method

1. Log into My Everence using your credentials and primary method of MFA.
   1. If your primary method is no longer available, a Web Support team member will need to speak with you over the phone to confirm your need to remove your MFA method to allow you to set up a new one. 
2. On the dashboard, locate the menu in the top right corner with your name on it.
3. Click the option to "View Profile"
   
4. Navigate to the Two-step verification section: 
   
   
5. Select the option to "Change to primary method" in the "Secondary verification method" row.

To remove a method of verification

1. Log into My Everence using your credentials and primary method of MFA.
   1. If your primary method is no longer available, a Web Support team member will need to speak with you over the phone to confirm your need to remove your MFA method to allow you to set up a new one. 
2. On the dashboard, locate the menu in the top right corner with your name on it.
3. Click the option to "View Profile"

5. Select the option to "Remove" next to the method you'd like to eliminate.
